Oral Health Outreach Programme Will Enhance Grassroots Healthcare Services In Kano.

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje announced that his administration would upgrade the existing hospitals in his determination and zeal to ensure healthcare delivery services at all the 5 emirate councils, and provides all the necessary and modern materials to the hospitals

He stated this while flagging the Oral health outreach at all the stat’s emirates in order to ensure that healthcare services were provided at doorsteps especially when the Kano state government is trying to expand health care services to rural and urban settlements.

He added that ” we are making progress in the area of healthcare services that are directly related to tongue, nose, eye, ear and teeth because these parts of the body are more sensitive to be included into programmes, and our administration is working out to see that healthcare and education is given special attention in order to makes Kano the best in healthcare delivery services “. He emphasized.

In conclusion, governor Ganduje urged the people of Kano state to always refer to professionals in healthcare services for counselling whenever they experience any symptoms for possible treatment especially Kano hospitals remained more conducive for health care services.

The programme would be conducted at all the 5 emirates where each emirate was given two days for the treatment of those who are having problems with lips, ear, eye, teeth and other similar affections, while Kano citizens who spoke with newsmen at the venue expressed their readiness towards the full success of the programme.
