The Sokoto state commissioner of police, Sokoto state command Kamaluddin Kola Okunlola visited the commander Operation PUFF ADDER II and his men deployed by the IGP Muhammad Adamu mni NPM to curb the menace of arm banditry in the state. The visit had in attendance the deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of operations DCP Nwokolo James and other tactical teams of the command.

This was contained in a release signed and issued to newsmen by the Commands’ spokesman, ASP Sanusi Abubakar.

While noting the efforts and resilience of the operation ,The CP pledged his unanimous support to strengthen and sustained the operational capabilities of men deployed for the success of this operation. The commander PUFF ADDER II and his men were energised by the CP’s tremendous support since the commencement of the laudable operation.

However, the CP is deeply saddened and heartily commiserate with the families of the Officers who paid the supreme price in the course of repelling attack by bandits to invade Bargaja village of ISA LGA. He further assured that the perpetrators of such heinous crime will never get away unpunished as the Command has emplaced all measures aimed at bringing the perpetrators to justice.
