The dark days came by with hope of the sunrise far from reach. . .
T0phe earth was thrown into confusion!
With so much wailing and sorrow, everywhere was in commotion
A common song of agony like a chant amongs men.
The scourge came in the form of a virus, afflicting the human race yet we did not learn!
We still fall within lines and divide the worst kind of virus man has plagued himself.
True! the dark days came!!
With blame casting, a trade so smooth.
Everyone knew a secret, except the cure.
Terror trended, propaganda attained.
Relationships strained with no love contained
Gradually we lost…
because of splitting ideas!
Black and white a crime for life.
The help defied science!
Yet the fight for supremacy continued even at the verge of losing our humanity!
The dark days came! Far beyond borders, shutting down countries, world economies and locking down homes.
Lockdown sadly the only common bond agreed by all!
Social media the space of war!
Confirmed and unconfirmed stories of terror! Spread wild and wide in the spectrum of its coverage.
Man was in captivity by his own creation.
The dark days came!
The answer came also..
It was here all along hoping to be found..
Only that we were not ready!
To drop our pride..
Drop our charges..
Drop the blame games against each other… To reflect…
Be truly sorry for all our wrongs..
Be sincere in our quest!
Recognizing that science and technology are never really the end of everything!
Drop our claim to the knowledge we acclaimed ..
And then listen to nature and the creator of the whole universe…
