  • 4 Reasons why girls are not attracted to you

4 Reasons why girls are not attracted to you

Hey dude, here are 4 reasons why you can’t get a girlfriend:

    1. You’re jobless

And of course, broke. If you are like this, chances are that no one will rush you.

It’s true that there are women who are not about the money but even those won’t be too pleased to be with a guy who has no [legit] job. So if you are hardworking and enterprising some will still rush you even if you are broke.

But that is on the condition that you don’t run afoul of the things listed below…

    2. You don’t respect women

You won’t be rushed if you don’t respect women, no matter how good looking you are.

You won’t be rushed if you don’t respect women. If you are the type who doesn’t have the right manner of approach, if you are not kind and gentle and treat women right, they’ll stay away from you.

Even if you have good looks and that brings them into the yard for a while, it won’t be long before your disrespect and character flaws send them packing.

Women don’t rush guys who are disrespectful. No wonder you are still single.

    3. Your social skills is zero

You need to grow your social skills, too. Talking, communicating, meeting people for the first time and leaving great  impressions on them… you need to know this.

Your lack of this is probably why you are not being rushed.

    4. Your grooming is below par

As simple as this sounds, you may be falling short of it and that’s why no woman is rushing you, or even coming close to you at all.

Body odour, mouth odour, disregard for appearance… all this ensures that women hurry away from you, not towards you.

  • Why a rebound relationship will do you more harm than good

Why a rebound relationship will do you more harm than good

When someone newly gets out of a relationship and decides to get into another one either because they don’t know how to be alone, or because they don’t want to, such relationship is known as a rebound relationship.

When heartbreak happens, it is often better to give one’s self the chance to heal and come to terms with what has happened.

Getting straight into another relationship just after one ended isn’t always a good idea.

So you know what rebound relationship means, and that it’s usually a bad idea, but that’s not all there is to this kind of relationship.

Below, we list seven more things you should know about this:

    1. Rebound relationships can begin with a lot of baggage that is left over from the previous relationship.

    2. It is always about the ex. Not about you or your new partner.

It is always about that former partner to whom you want to prove that you are lovable, or that you have moved on.

SadnessRebound relationships most times end in more disappointment

    3. They are often temporary.

    4. Where one of the partners realizes later that he/she has only been used as a rebound from a relationship, it could lead to another breakup.

It is better to feel the pain of a breakup than try to rebound into another.

One is then forced to ask; what, then, is the point of the rebound relationship?

    5. Rebound relationships are more damaging than therapeutic. It is better to let yourself feel the pain, loneliness and emptiness and then move on from that point, knowing you have shed yourself of all negative emotions and your next-step is actually “moving on.”

  • 3 Reasons why your man is emotionally disconnected

3 Reasons why your man is emotionally disconnected

A man can put up emotional brick-walls in relationship for certain reasons, especially when he has misgivings about the relationship.

    Well, if you are worried your man seems unemotional, here are possible reasons why;

    1. He fears you won’t reciprocate

If it’s at the early stage where you are only just befriending each other, a man could be forming hard guy, clamping down on his feelings for you in an attempt to a get a little more clarity. He’ll first want to be sure that you like him back or that there is, at least, the possibility that you can be convinced with a little more wooing and show of affection.

Until he gets a clear green light or feels that the odds of getting you favour him, he may continue to keep a lid on how he truly feels.

If he’s not sure his affection will be reciprocated, he may keep hiding how he feels.

    2. He does not want to be lame

There’s a thing with certain women [and men] which causes them to associate an openness about emotions with ‘being lame.’ No guy wants to appear lame. He always wants to stay in charge of the situation, he wants to be ahead of the curve, and to be absolutely sure that every emotional expression is appreciated and increases his rating with you.

It is expected that men may be masculine, to not be a sissy or to not be effeminate. Sadly, processing and expressing emotions has been covered under this ‘effeminate’ blanket.

Women are believed to do the most when they know a guy truly loves them.

    3. You could use it against him

The decision to hold back on those feelings could also be influenced by a desire to not become vulnerable and concede too much power to you.

There is a belief among men that when a woman does not know or is unsure of your love for her, she’ll be humble and act right towards you. The moment she knows, however, the power dynamic changes. It is believed that from that moment, she may begin to exploit you, either financially, emotionally or in other ways.

So when he’s forming hard guy, it could be his way of preventing this from happening.

  • 5 Things to consider when planning the perfect proposal

5 Things to consider when planning the perfect proposal

Decided to ask the big question? Good!

Now here are 5 things you should have in mind if you want your marriage proposal to be perfect:

    1. Location

After spending months, years, decades with your partner you should be able to tell what interests your partner. The location could range from a dinner at a nice restaurant to the movies to a getaway or even a rooftop.

Whether your proposal is going to be private or public, what is important is that you must be creative. It is time to put on your thinking cap. There are so many locations out there- beach, picnic, at home, water front and even Church.

    2. Photography

After you must have figured out a location the next thing to consider is photography. You would definitely want memories of your proposal therefore invest in photography. You might not necessarily need to hire a photographer as you could have your friends or family act as standby photographers with their phones.

    3. Props

Props could be a cake or even a card that reads “Will you marry me?” Props are alternative ways of saying “Will you marry me” as they have to be beautifully decorated. You could make your cards glow in the dark and even have cards that reads “She said yes” to take pictures with right after the proposal.

    4. People to attend

This basically applies to proposals that wouldn’t be personal (just the two of you). Make a list of those she would want in attendance. You could draw up your list from her favorite people. If she is a family lady then this is a cue that her family members should be in attendance. It could be her friends, co-workers etc.

    5. Entertainment

This does not have to be elaborate. You could accompany your proposal with great music, slides of pictures of the both of you or even a poem with sweat words that shows how much she means to you.

The greatest of all necessities is the ring. Please don’t forget it! Have a great proposal.

  • Why FG shut Nigeria’s borders — CG Customs

Why FG shut Nigeria’s borders — CG Customs

    By Jennifer Y Omiloli

The blocking of Nigeria’s borders by Federal Government was attempted to reinforce the country’s security and ensure its financial advantages, the Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), retired Col. Hameed Ali, has said.

Talking during a meeting with outskirt partners, containing cargo forwarders and security organizations on Thursday at Seme, Ali said that the closure was not expected to hurt anybody but to ensure the countries interests.

“Our interest is to make sure that our country is secure, the well-being of our people is ensured and our economy is secure.

“The step we have taken is in the interest of Nigeria, the step is not to hurt anybody but to protect our own interests as a nation,” he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ali was accompanied at the meeting by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Benin Republic, Kayode Oguntuase, Comptroller General Immigration, Mohammed Babandede and Brig. Gen. E.A Ndagi, Coordinator of Joint Border Security Exercise, among others.

The NCS boss said that lots of things had gone wrong regarding compliance with transit of goods, adding that the border closure was to ensure that things were streamlined so that all stakeholders could be back to doing the right things.

“The idea is to ensure that the protocol that is involved in transit of goods and trade facilitation is adhered to so that we will all live and complement each other.

“The operation is undertaken to ensure that we get things back in perspective; we know the right thing, it is well written, we are all aware of it, we used to practise it, so we must go back to that.

Ali said that the freight forwarders were critical stakeholders at the borders and urged them to ensure compliance with the rules regarding transit of goods.

“We cannot do business without you but compliance is lacking between you and our officers. Most of the things we do, we don’t comply with rules and that’s why we end up with weapons, Tramadol that killed our children.

“We end up with ammunition that bandits use to kill our people; we don’t manufacture ammunition in this country, if we do it is only from one source and that source is well protected and documented.

“But today, we have seen many of this ammunition in Nigeria, where are they coming from.

“They have compromised with some of us and some of you and I say to our officers; that weapons, that bullets you facilitate in transiting into Nigeria, you don’t know who will take it.

“The bandits, the armed robbers had no choice, your mother, my children, your sisters might be shot by that weapon,” the customs boss said.

He called for support and cooperation of the stakeholders to ensure the nation is protected.

“We need your support, we need your cooperation and understanding, our national interest is over and above any issue,” he said.

Daybreak.ng reports that the joint-outskirt security work out, code-named ‘Ex-Swift Response’, which was requested by the Federal Government, started August to verify Nigeria’s territory and sea borders.
