Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, has invited several prominent individuals to commission infrastructure projects as part of his administration’s Urban Renewal Programme. These projects include the Safe City Command and Control Centre, the new Ungwan Rimi Market, the Umaru Yar’adua Road, the Isa Kaita Road, and 10 other roads. Former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, former national chairmen of the All Progressives Congress Chiefs Bisi Akande and John Odigie-Oyegun, former governors, and two serving ministers from the state have been invited to participate in the commissioning. The former Vice-President was specifically invited due to his status as the highest-ranking elected official the state has produced. Additionally, recognition is given to individuals such as Chief Bisi Akande, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Pastor Tunde Bakare, and former governor Ali Modu Sheriff for their roles in the merger of parties that formed the APC.

Senator Aisha Dahiru, the APC gubernatorial candidate in Adamawa state, has worked hard to break the glass ceiling limiting the political aspirations of women in Nigeria.

According to the Special Adviser,  “it is only right and proper to recognize the service of Hajiya Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed and Dr. Mohammed Mahmood Abubakar as ministers from Kaduna state. The upcoming commissioning of these projects marks a major milestone in the state’s comprehensive Urban Renewal Programme. The infrastructure initiatives, undertaken by the newly established metropolitan authorities, aim to enhance and expand critical public infrastructure across the state. This includes improving connectivity between communities, attracting investments, stimulating economic growth, and ultimately enhancing the overall quality of life for the citizens.
