Kano Emirs Called For More Prayers, Bumper Harvest, Economic Progress.

The emirs from kano emirates councils have called on their people to concentrate on more prayers for the total eradication of Covid-19 and other issues challenging the well being of the country and the world in general.

In their separate speeches to their people, emir Aminu Ado Bayero of kano emirate, Nasiru Ado Bayero of Bichi, Ibrahim Abubakar of Karaye, that of Rano, Kabiru Muhammad Inuwa and the emir of Gaya Ibrahim Abdulkadir, the monarchs directed their people to pray for the progress of Kano state and Nigeria in general in order to remain more progressive and peaceful.

Similarly, the emirs tasked the people of their domains to pray for the total eradication of Covid-19 pandemic in the world in general for the restoration of the global economy, good livelihood and to pray for bumper harvest at the end of this year’s cropping season respectively.

Our reporter who monitored Sallah celebrations at Kano and Bichi emirate councils reported that since around 8am, the grand eid prayer grounds were filled with people while the security agents especially the officers and men of the Road safety were seen controlling traffics and giving instructions to motorists at the venues.

Most of the people that had a chats with Daybreak news disclosed that this year’s Sallah celebration is being done at low key pattern because the issue of Covid-19 causes more obstacles to the festival especially the traditional durbars and other cultural activities, while some interviewers said that lack of money reduce the preparation of feasts in many houses.
