4. Ogun Banker’s Vanishing Act: Missing Ogun banker, Olumide Openaike, staged his abduction over a debt of N1.7 million. He diverted bank funds for personal use, leading to depression. Openaike was found in Niger State.

5. Eagles Soar, Antelopes Weep: Super Eagles defeated Angola 1-0 in the AFCON quarterfinals, securing a spot in the semi-finals. Ademola Lookman scored the winning goal. The match was dedicated to the late Samuel Okwaraji.

6. Billionaire Takes FBN: Femi Otedola appointed chairman of First Bank of Nigeria Holdings’ board of directors, replacing Ahmad Abdullahi. Otedola owns almost 5.65% of FBN Holdings Plc.

7. Rivers: Crisis Infinity: Governor Siminalayi Fubara appointed Edison Ehie, a former factional Speaker facing arrest warrants, as Chief of Staff. A court restraining order prevents Ehie’s arrest.
