“This conditional cash transfer is being carried out simultaneously in all the 17 local government areas of Plateau.

“We in Plateau are appreciative of the good gesture of President Muhammadu Buhari who ordered this four

months payment to the vulnerable in the Nigerian society.

The SA assured, “we are determined to ensure that every eligible candidate received his or her cash without further delay.”

According to the focal person, “even those beneficiaries whose names were omitted last two months would receive their complete N30,000.”

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that among the beneficiaries at Sobolo Ward were a 78-year-old grandmother  and two blind people,

Mr Yakub Bala, One of the blind persons commended the government saying that “may God bless our president and Governor for considering us Worthy of this magnanimity and goodwill.”

Also speaking, Mr Desmond Onu, Head of CCT Task Force from Abuja, described the exercise as “very apt” and “satisfactory.”

Onu commended the State CCT staff for their courage and expertise in handling the cash transfers to the beneficiaries on the Plateau.
