Eleven people have sustain serious degrees of injury following an explosion at a local bear palour in Nukkai Jalingo the headquarters of Taraba state.
Investigation by Daybreak Nigeria news revealed that the bomb skyrocketed a local joint located at the ward head of Nukkai resident destroying three rooms apartment.
An eyewitness, Andrew Nokani told our correspondent that the blast took place at about 8:30 pm at the House of the ward head we’re they are taking local bear know as “Brokutu” in Nukkai.
Speaking on the urgly situation, the ward head of Nukkai John Awoshiri said eleven people mostly children sustain injuries during the blast in his compound where they take local bear know as “brokutu” alongside with others unknown people.
He appealed to youths in Nukkai not to take the law into their hands but be vigilant to report any suspicious character for prompt action.
When contacted the state Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, Abdullahi Usman comfirmed the incident and call on the community to be vigilant.
The PPRO, called on social media users to stop spraying rumor and allow Police and Journalist to report incident currently.
It could be recalled that on Tuesday there were a blast at the Iware market that claim 16 lives at the local joint in Ardo-kola local government area of Taraba state
