In a statement issued Tuesday, the command’s spokesperson, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said police responded to a distress call at around 6:40 a.m. reporting an armed attack on the residence of 30-year-old Shehu Muhammad. The victim was attacked with a sharp cutlass by two assailants, sustaining severe injuries.
