2021 main pilgrimage to commence mid June- NCPC

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC Rev. Dr. Yakubu Pam has disclosed that the Commission would commence the 2021 Main Pilgrimage exercise by the middle of June, 2022.
The NCPC boss disclosed this on 31st May, 2022 during a send forth organized by the Commission for the retiring senior officer of the Commission, Pastor Tete Yakubu who had attained the mandatory retirement age of 60.

He explained that the 2021 main pilgrimage exercise was expected to have commenced on 30th May, 2022 but was shifted to mid June due to operational reasons.

The NCPC Chief Executive described the retiring staff of the Commission as “a true man of God who has worked tirelessly for the Commission, and urged him to be steadfast with God.

Also Director of Administration, Mr. Barnabas Ali commended Pastor Tete Yakubu for conducting himself very well all through his service in the Commission.

He affirmed, “retirement is part of life and every public servant must retire one day.”

He further enjoined the staff of the Commission to be supportive and show love to one another, shun rivalry to engage in healthy relationship.

Pastor Tete Yakubu appreciated the Commission and thanked God for the time he spent in service to humanity and the service to God.

He advised staff to be patient and always do the right thing as they wait for their turn to retire.
