Former Sokoto State Governor and serving Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has reaffirmed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will reclaim its mandate in the 2027 elections.
Tambuwal made this statement on Monday while flagging off the distribution of Ramadan assistance to the people of Sokoto State.
He revealed that the initiative targets 30,000 households, in addition to other food aid and multiple assistance programs provided by PDP lawmakers at both state and federal levels.
According to him, PDP lawmakers are also distributing thousands of bags of rice and other grains to youth and women-led organizations to support fasting Muslims during the holy month.
“As you are aware, many people have lost their lives and are no longer with us. By His grace, we are alive to observe another Ramadan and witness the distribution of foodstuffs to our people once again.”
He prayed for continued good health and longevity, expressing gratitude to the PDP leadership in Sokoto for their efforts in mobilizing and strengthening the party.
“We are one big, united family and will continue working together to reclaim what was taken from us. As you know, in the last elections, our mandate was forcefully stolen. But now, we are restrategizing and organizing to take it back,” Tambuwal stated.
