51 Year Old Magajin Garin Sokoto Led To Rest

The funeral attended by three governors,Aminu Waziri Tambuwal,Nasir El-Rufai,Atiku Bagudu as well as the President General Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs,Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar and other important dignitaries from across the country attended the prayer.

Grandson of the then late Premier of northern Nigeria Sardauna of Sokoto,Alhaji Hassan Danbaba slump in Kaduna and died shortly afterwards, family source explained.

Leading the funeral prayers, the Chief Imam of Sultan Bello Musque, Muhammad Bello Akwara said death is inevitable for all mortals, hence appealing to all and sundry to make their paths right with Allah while alive.

The remains of Alhaji Hassan Dambaba was laid to rest according to Islamic rites at Binaci few steps away from Sultan’s palace at the family cementary of Magajin Gari’s.

Reacting to the death, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence and Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Anti- Corruption, Senator in a condolence expressed grief over the sad incidence.

Wamakko who described late Magajin Gari Alhaji Hassan DanBaba as not only a distinguished gentleman but also a respected traditional ruler that has contributed immensely to the development of Sokoto Caliphate , and the nation in general, affirmed that Sokoto Caliphate has indeed lost a father and a respected leader.

iWhle praying Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with Aljannat Firdaus, a statement by Wamakko’s spokesperson, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal concluded that, Magajin Gari lived a life of service to the Caliphate, Nigeria and humanity.
