7 slaughtered in bank theft

No less than seven individuals were accounted for executed in the burglary assault and theft executed by an eleven-man group.

The burglars hit a part of First Bank in Idoani, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The burglars were accounted for to have raged the town toward the evening of Monday, shooting sporadically.

They used up every last cent security entryways with an unstable gadget.

The bank is said to be the main business bank in Idoani, serving the other neighboring towns also.

The looters shot and murdered seven individuals, including bank authorities, a Police Inspector just as two clients utilizing the Automated Teller Machine (ATM).

Five different people who were seriously injured are by confirmation at the emergency unit the General Hospital in the town.

As indicated by an observer account, the looters got away through the shrubbery in the region with an unspecified measure of cash stolen from the bank.

Not long after their departure, men of the Nigerian Army landed at the scene.

The Ondo State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Mr Femi Joseph, affirmed the occurrence.

He said that one individual has been associated with the burglary assault and examinations are progressing to angle out the escaping individuals.

He engaged inhabitants to be honest, resist the urge to panic not to engage fears as the police are over the circumstance.
