Atiku Approves N33,000 Minimum Wage For Staff Members Under His Business Conglomerate

The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, has approved N33,000 minimum wage for all staff members under his conglomerate of businesses.

A statement by Mohammed El-Yakub, Managing Director of Gotel Communications, Atiku’s media outfit based in Yola, states that the “N33,000 new salary scale which takes effect from November, 2018 include domestic servants and all category of workers on the former VP’s payroll”.

The statement further revealed that over 100,000 people are currently drawing salary on a monthly basis from the former vice president.

Atiku, recently reacted to the new national minimum wage controversy as recommended by the Ama Pepple committee, insisting that President Muhammadu Buhari must honour the deal reached with the Nigerian workers.
