Kaduna State Varsity Ag VC tenure extended

The Chairman Governing Council of Kaduna State University (KASU), Mallam Husaini Adamu Dikko, has on behalf of the Council members approved the provisional tenure extension of the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Abdullahi Musa Ashafa.

Prof. Ashafa’s tenure’s extension, takes effect from 23rd September to 22nd December, 2022, according to a statement signed by the spokesman of the varsity, Adamu Nuhu Bargo, on Tuesday in Kaduna.

The statement made available to newsmen also stated that the provisional extension “is subject to ratification by council or the appointment of a substantive Vice Chancellor in accordance with the University Law, as the case may be.”
While thanking the Chairman and members of Council, Prof. Ashafa assured them of his unwavering commitment, dedication and continuing consultation with the Council for guidance, towards taking KASU to greater heights.
