Wamakko Mourns Commissioner

APC leader in Sokoto State, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto has described the death of his former Commissioner of Water resources, Dalhatu Shehu Tangaza, Wazirin Tangaza, who died in the early hours of Friday as a rude shock.

Wamakko described the deceased as humble, honest and a trusted leader who held his subjects of Tangaza in the highest esteem.

The Senator explained that the late former commissioner died when his services to humanity are direly needed.

He prayed Allah, the Almighty to forgive the deceased all his sins and reward him with Jannatul Firdausi as his final abode.

His funeral prayer, which was conducted at his home town, Tangaza, Tangaza Local Government Area of the state was attended by the Minister of Police Affairs,Alhaji Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, former Governor of the old Sokoto State, Mallam Yahaya Abdulkarim, Executive Chairman of the local government, Hon. Isah Salihu Bashir Kalanjeni, former Ambassadors, Their Excellencies Abubakar Shehu Wurno and Sahabi Isah Gada and APC Chairman, Sokoto State, Hon Isah Sadiq Acida.

Others were: Member, House of Representatives representing Kware/Wamakko Federal Constiruency, Hon. Ahmad Abdullahi Kalambaina and some Members-elect, Sokoto State House of Assembly.

Others were: Former Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, politicians, Ulamas and busines associates, among others.

Similarly, Sokoto State Governor-elect, Hon. Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has condoled the family members of the late Hon. Shehu Dalhatu Tangaza.

Hon. Ahmad Aliyu, who is currently perfoming the lesser Hajj at Saudi Arabia, described the late commissioner as a dependable father and leader who spent his time in working for his people of Tangaza Local Government Area and the state as a whole.

He prayed Allah to forgive his sins and reward him with Jannatul Firdausi.

Mallam Nafiu Malami Dan Haja offered a special prayer for the repose of the departed soul.
