Photo News: NEXIM Bank Hosts Mayor of Houston, ALGON-IMC

In a bid to strengthen and to provide
finance, risk mitigating services, trade, and market information as well as export
advisory services to the Nigerian community, the management of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank on Tuesday, welcomed and played host to the Mayor of Houston Texas USA, Sylvester Turner and the leadership of the Interim Management Committee of ALGON.

According to report, the meeting which held in Abuja, had in attendance the mayor of houston, Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi, National Chairman of the Interim Management Committee , Abuja Municipal Council Chairman, Hon.Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, Hon. Mohammed Ibukun Abubakar, Secretary General-ALGON, amongst others.

The meeting was hinged on avenues to chart forward avenues and processes to enhancing the contributions of calue added products in the nations export basket while internalising and increasing the benefits of production through jobs creation and increased export earnings within the 774 constitutionally recognized local government areas in Nigeria.

Meanwhile the mayor of Houston Texas USA, Mr. Sylvester Turner reiterated the need to synergise and build bilateral relationships stating that it in both ways, favours parties involved.

The Houston’s 62nd mayor, however disclosed that there are over 5 black persons serves as mayor of cities in the United State of America.
