Sokoto Government Move To Improve Healthcare Services In The State

Governor Ahmed Aliyu stated this during the Examiners workshop organised by the State Ministry of Health in collaboration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

The governor who was represented by the Secretary to the state government Alhaji Muhammadu Bello Sifawa said this was aimed at ensuring improved healthcare status of people in the state.

He said this is in fulfilment of his promise to the electorates, to provide all necessary materials needed to improve health services to all as contained in his nine points agenda.

The ceremony held at Sokoto Guest Inn was attended by Nurses and Midwives in the state.

Several papers on health activities were presented at the ceremony.
