Minister of Art, Hannatu Musawa Faces Criticism Over Missing NYSC Certificate

Hannatu Musawa, who currently holds the position of Minister of Art, Culture, and Creative Economy, is facing intense criticism due to her lack of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate.

The NYSC Management officially confirmed on Thursday that the minister is currently enrolled as a corps member.

Eddy Megwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations at NYSC, informed The Cable that the minister is actively participating in the National Youth Service Corps.

The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) had brought to attention that Musawa is unable to produce an NYSC certificate.

Musawa was among the 45 ministers inaugurated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday, subsequent to their confirmation by the Senate.
