Court of Appeal Overturns Removal of Nasarawa Governor

In a recent development, a three-member panel at the Court of Appeal has overturned the removal of Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State.

The panel, in its judgment, found fault with the Nasarawa State Election Petition Tribunal, stating that it had made a legal error in its determination that Sule did not secure the majority of votes in the election.

Consequently, the appellate court has nullified the tribunal’s decision, confirming Abdullahi Sule’s reelection as the Governor of Nasarawa State.

More details will follow.
