No rift between Ex Governor Lalong ,Dr Nentawe and Rep Gagdi – Plateau Group

A group operating under the auspices of Plateau APC Youths For Good Governance has said that there is no rift between the immediate past Governor of the state Dr Simon Lalong ,the Governor elect Dr Nentawe Yilwatda, and the hardworking Lawmaker representing Pankshin/Kanke Kanam Federal Constituency in the House of representatives Hon Yusuf Gagdi .

The group added that the rumours of a rift is being peddled by the adversaries of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Plateau
state.
“Our attention has been drawn to a sponsored propaganda in some quarters suggesting cracks in the solid camp of the Plateau APC .”

“We will not be distracted because we are fully aware how desperate the People’s Democratic Party PDP has become therefore employing all manner of tactics, including propaganda and lies, just to cause confusion but sadly for the PDP, it is just too late because citizens of Plateau are in support of our Governor elect Dr Nentawe Yilwatda who was declared winner of the March 18th 2023 Governorship election by the Court of Appeal.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Jos the group’s Communications Consultant Hon. Murphy Lazarus Gobus ,warned that they would soon expose those spreading such falsehood against the leaders of the APC in Plateau if they don’t desist from the act.

The statement added that ” There is no rift of any form between our Leaders in Plateau .”

” The speculations of alleged bad blood between our leaders are been fueled by mischief makers “.

“We want to make it clear that all APC members in the state remain loyal to the former Governor of the state Bar Simon Lalong and the party, as against news report published by mischief makers .”

“As a group we wish to state clearly that our leaders and members are impressed with the style of leadership of our Minster of Labour and Employment Bar Simon Lalong . ”

” Rep Yusuf Gagdi and Dr Nentawe Yilwatda are loyal Party members who respect Ex Governor Simon Lalong alot ,Lalong is the leader of the APC in Plateau and all members of the party in the state have long accepted that fact .”

“We want to emphasize here that, there is no division whatsoever in the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.

“We have seen the desperate move by some people especially members of the PDP to cause division in our party .”

“The APC in Plateau State are united and confident of Dr Nentawe Yilwatda’s victory at the Supreme court ‘

” By the grace of God ,Dr Nentawe Yilwatda would emerge victorious at the Court of Appeal” ,they further added .
