Truck Driver Abducted by Masked Gunmen in Anambra

Chijioke Obinabo, a truck driver, was forcefully taken by masked gunmen on Sunday at Etiti Village, Enugwu-Agidi, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State. The armed men, numbering more than five, reportedly broke into the victim’s family house in the midnight. Armed with both guns and machetes, they left Obinabo’s centenarian father and younger sister powerless until they escaped with him. The Village Head, Ozo Mmiliana, expressed concern over the safety of the abducted individual, and local residents are anxious about the incident, questioning why he was the sole target that night. The family has reported the incident to the police, but there has been no positive feedback at the time of this report.
