Gunmen have reportedly killed one of the six sisters abducted in Abuja, identified as Najeebah. The girls were kidnapped along with their father on January 9, and the kidnappers later released the father, demanding a N60 million ransom for the daughters’ release by January 12. Despite efforts to raise funds, the criminals killed Najeebah and left her body for the family to bury. Former Minister Isa Ali Pantami confirmed Najeebah’s death, and concerns are mounting for the safety of the remaining kidnapped girls. Nigerians are urging the police to prioritize the case and ensure the safe rescue of the victims.
