It said WAANSA in collaboration with Regional and National Stakeholders will continue to compliment the effort of government towards National peace, security and development.

WAANSA, noted that there have been ceaseless abuse of ECOWAS protocol of free entry and free exit which have made border communities a ” heaven of criminal elements who constantly disrupt governance and continues to be threat to National peace and development.”

It also observed that the many internally displaced camps scattered all over Nigeria especially in the FCT exercebates security problem as they have become “homes of drug peddlers and all sorts of criminal activities”.

It therefore called for the strengthening of securities at borders communities to end criminalities and the identification of all internally displaced camps in the country and compiling relevant data of occupants to check the menance.
