Bauchi State Government to Employ Technology in Crime Prevention

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has announced plans to deploy technology as a strategic tool in the state’s efforts to combat crime. During the Nigerian Police Force’s year-end celebration organized by the Bauchi State Command, the Governor emphasized the pivotal role of technology in effectively addressing criminal activities.

In a statement released through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mukhtar Gidado, Governor Mohammed commended the police and other security agencies for their tireless efforts in tackling security challenges across the state. He assured them of a supportive environment for carrying out their duties diligently and stressed the importance of collaboration and synergy among all stakeholders to achieve common goals.

The Governor reiterated his commitment to maintaining law and order, aiming to create an environment conducive to attracting investment and fostering economic development. Expressing gratitude for an award of excellence presented by the police, Governor Mohammed sees it as a motivation to further enhance the effectiveness of security services.

The Bauchi State Commissioner of Police, Auwal Musa Mohammed, clarified that the award acknowledges the Governor’s administration’s substantial investment in preserving peace and security in the state. Additionally, the state’s first lady, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, received an award of excellence for her advocacy against Gender-Based Violence.
