Hardship as Indomie itches toward N500 a pack, others still on rise in Kaduna

More hardship as prices of Indomie, one of the most cherished and favourite delicacy for children and other related noodles are fast itching towards N500. 00 per pack in Kaduna state and environs, investigation has revealed.

For instance, a pack of Cherry and Super pack indomies are between N300.00 and N450.00 respectively in Kaduna North and South, while a
Cartoon of the later sold for N18,000, as at Sunday 2024.

Our Kaduna correspondent who monitor the situation around Kawo and Sabon Tasha areas of Kaduna town, and other communities in metropolis also reported that prices of provisions like sugar, milk, spaghetti amongst others, strictly followed suit with some of them tripled in hike.

According to him, the hike in price is still steadily on the increase and has become a matter of daily, or in some cases, hourly bases, depending on how much retailers purchase their goods last.

According to his finding on Sunday, some wholesalers are said be in the last minute increase to make fast game before the tomorrow, fearing that government may forced down prices goods and services through enforcement.
