Kano state Polytechnic Promoting Self-Reliance Through Sciences- Director.

Kano state Polytechnic would continue to promote vocational and skill acquisition programmes to facilitate self-reliance with optimum results.

This was announced by the director, school of sciences Gwamai Dawakin Tofa , Malam Muktar Dankaka while acknowledging educational support from the well meaning citizens of the school’s catchment area for sponsoring students into the school’s academic sessions.

He disclosed that the school would become an examplary academy of learning because the host communities in the area are ready to support the government’s determination to providing quality education without bias.

Muktar Dankaka added that with the people participation in the educational development, there would be a collective efforts towards the successful implementation of policies regarding the sector where the young generations tends to benefit from the collective responsibility as a community.

He commended Alhaji Arab Iliyasu Tsaure for sponsoring 200 students to study at the school, and called on the well meaning citizens to contribute to education sector in order to promote peace and progress in our societies.

Those who spoke at the ceremony are Alhaji Sabo Iliyasu Saye the Senior legislative aid to Bichi law maker and Alhaji Arab Iliyasu Tsaure and some remarks from the students respectively.
