I remain unshaken by Court of Appeal ruling – Abdulmumin Jibrin

By Jennifer Y Omiloli

Abdulmumin Jibrin, representing Kano State’s Bebeji / Kiru federal constituency in the House of Representatives, declared that he remained unshaken by the Court of Appeal’s ruling ordering a re-election in his electoral district.

Jibrin, who in a statement on Friday, November 1, faulted the court’s ruling, also urged his supporters to remain calm, noting that no election is a do or die affair.

He expressed confidence that the Kiru / Bebeji people who have given him their mandate consistently and repeatedly will not hesitate to do so again.

On the same day, Jibrin’s statement was issued by the Court of Appeal sitting in the state-ordered Kaduna fresh election to federal constituency seat in Kiru / Bebeji.
