[JUST IN] Budget Padding: Senate Reinstates Senator Ningi from Suspension

The Senate has lifted the suspension of Senator Abdul Ningi, which was imposed on March 12, 2024.

This decision followed a motion moved by Deputy Minority Leader Senator Abba Moro on Tuesday, in which he apologized on Ningi’s behalf and accepted full responsibility for Ningi’s actions.

Senator Ningi had been suspended after he gave an interview alleging budget padding.
