Former Governor of Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District Simon Bako Lalong has visited the former Commissioner for Information and Communication Hon. Dan Manjang to commiserate with him over the demise of his mother Ngo Garos Bitrus Manjang who passed away at the age of 86 and was recently laid to rest.

Lalong in company of former Deputy Speaker House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Idris Wase, Member Representing QuanPan, Shendam, Mikang Federal Constituency Hon. John Dafaan former Commisioners and other APC stalwarts described the deceased as a woman of virtue who served God and humanity with passion and compassion.

The Senator who expressed grief on the death of mama, told the Manjang family that he was unable to pay a personal visit at the time the event occurred or during the funeral due to exigencies of duty.

However, he said the late Ngo left behind good legacies that will continue to endure especially through her children who have attained various positions of responsibility in society and are doing well.

He prayed God to continue to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss and also grant her soul eternal rest.

Responding, Hon. Dang Manjang thanked the former Governor and leader of the APC in Plateau State for his love and concern to the Manjang family, describing it as soothing and reliable.

He said the delegation having supported the family in one way or the other throughout the burial period, has deemed it fit to personally come and pay the condolence visit which is a mark of honour and goodwill that will never be taken for granted.

Manjang said mama left indelible marks on her children, the community and the Christian faith having laboured in love with her late husband, a one time COCIN Vice President.
