Tems Teases J Cole Collaboration on Upcoming Debut Album ‘Born In The Wild’

Nigerian international sensation Tems has offered fans a glimpse into her highly anticipated debut album, “Born In The Wild,” set to release on June 7, 2024. The artist recently shared a snippet of track 12, titled “Free Fall,” featuring American rapper J Cole, on her X (formerly Twitter) account.

This teaser follows her recent performance on NPR’s Tiny Desk, where she debuted another unreleased song from the album called “Unfortunate.” Tems has been actively promoting her album, appearing in multiple interviews, including a day-long session with Nigerian YouTuber and content creator Korty EO, where she discussed her journey, personal experiences, and the impact of fame and success.

Additionally, Tems made a return to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she performed her latest single “Love Me Jeje.”

“Born In The Wild” features 18 tracks, including two interludes on tracks 2 and 13. The album boasts guest appearances from Nigerian superstar Asake and American rapper J Cole. In an earlier interview with Apple Music, Tems revealed that her debut album is a reflection of various experiences throughout her life, leading to her current self.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the album’s release, anticipating the unique blend of Tems’ soulful voice and poignant lyrics that have made her a standout artist globally.
