The incident, condemned as barbaric by the governor’s office, sparked widespread outrage on social media. In a statement, Senator Sani’s Chief Press Secretary emphasized the administration’s commitment to justice, rule of law, and respect for human dignity, pledging that perpetrators will face legal consequences. The governor reaffirmed his stance against brutality and underscored his administration’s inclusive governance approach, welcoming diverse political perspectives.
