It was a celebration galore as Chiefs, Youths, Traditional Rulers, Women groups, political stakeholders of Oporoma Kingdom gathered at the Restoration playground Oporoma Town, Headquarters of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area to celebrate the victory of Hon.Target Isaiah Segibo at the poll and his 100 days in office as executive Chairman of the Local Government Council.
Speaking as Chairman of the occasion, Surveyor B J Egberibin represented by Dr .Dennis Egberibin thanked God for the victory of Hon.Target Isaiah at the poll.
He described Hon.Target as a trailblazer, astute and resolute politician who has impacted lives positively in the Local Government.
He urged him to carry out infrastructural development and programmes that will write his name on the sand of time.
He seized the opportunity and called on all political leaders, youths, traditional rulers to give him the needed support to enable him bring the needed dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

Ambassador (Dr.) Godknows Braladei Igali, former Ambassador to the Scandinavian countries – Sweden, Denmark and Norway and Hon.Robert Enougha, the chief executive officer of Stalls group of companies described Hon.Target Isaiah as a humble grassroot politician.
The duo assured him of their unwavering support for him to succeed in its developmental agenda.
In his remarks, the Amananaowei of Oporoma Kingdom, HRH.Ayibakuro Peter Ogidi-Oke Pere 1V, thanked all well wishers from far and near that came to celebrate with Hon.Target Isaiah.
The Paramount ruler said, since creation of Southern Ijaw Local Government area, no indigene from Oporoma community has ascended the seat as chairman and prayed God to give him the needed wisdom to fast track development of the area.
Others in their remarks, congratulated Hon.Target Isaiah Segibo on his victory, describing him as a man with the fear of God and urged the people of Southern Ijaw to remain united and support him in his developmental drive.
Responding to the honour by his people, Hon.Target Isaiah expressed gratitude to God, youths, women, traditional rulers, political stakeholders for standing by him through out the electioneering process
The former lawmaker turned council boss said, his tenure as Executive Chairman of Southern Ijaw Local Government Area will be qualitative, transformative and all-inclusive.
He urged Youths of the area to desist from hard drugs intake and other criminal vices in society and venture into meaningful activities that will make them stand tall in the future.
Highpoint of the event was cultural display by award winning bayelsa State Council for Arts And Culture Troupe and Oporoma Egbelegbele cultural Dance and Traditional wrestling between Oporoma and Otuan Community.
