Lanre Oshodi Praises Tinubu, Calls Him a Pragmatic, Visionary Leader

A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Lanre Oshodi, praised President Bola Tinubu on Friday for establishing structures and processes that enhance the country’s development.

“The South-West Development Commission (SWDC) is certainly another landmark achievement of President Bola Tinubu’s administration,” Oshodi remarked.

He commended President Tinubu for promoting public discussions, stimulating social cooperation, and instilling a new spirit of realism in youth development. “The planned National Youth Conference is a move that will significantly benefit the country’s youth,” he added.

In a statement made in Surulere, Oshodi emphasized the importance of recognizing the president’s efforts in identifying the country’s needs and responding to challenges with policies aimed at investment, employment, cost reduction, and trade promotion. “We must give credit to whom credit is due. President Bola Tinubu is a pragmatic and visionary leader,” said Oshodi, who plans to offer himself as a servant to the people of Surulere in 2025.

Oshodi highlighted how Tinubu is helping Nigeria navigate out of decline, insecurity, and injustice. Coming from a politically active family, he praised the president for diligently working to build and improve the nation, ensuring unity and political stability while focusing on economic growth.

“President Bola Tinubu is forging a path toward the industrial, economic, and social recovery of Nigeria with utmost determination,” he stated.

The statement underscored President Tinubu’s strong political commitment to pursuing realistic, attainable goals and concerted efforts to rebuild and modernize the country’s economy. It also highlighted the growth, prosperity, and economic opportunities emerging in the South-West geopolitical zone.

Born into a well-known political family in Lagos, Oshodi is poised to seek a prominent position in Lagos State.
