The Special Adviser to the Plateau State Governor on Youth Mobilization and Engagement, Hon. Hitler Joshua Pwajok, on Tuesday praised Governor Caleb Mutfwang for his commitment to youth inclusion in the governance of the state.
Pwajok also extended congratulations to the newly elected youth Council Chairmen following the recently concluded local government elections in Plateau State.
In a statement made available to our correspondent in Jos, Pwajok said, “This momentous occasion not only marks a significant milestone in your career but also symbolizes a collective victory for all the youths of our beloved Plateau State.”
He further expressed gratitude to Governor Mutfwang, stating, “We express our profound gratitude to His Excellency, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, for his steadfast commitment to youth inclusion in governance.”
“We, the youths of Plateau State, commend our Governor, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, for his youth-friendly policies and programs,” Pwajok added.
He noted that young people have never had it so good in the history of governance in Plateau State, as the current executive council consists of many youths. “As evidenced in the recent elections, with over 40% of youths elected as Local Government Area (LGA) Chairmen and over 70% as Ward Councillors, this successful implementation underscores the governor’s dedication to fostering a government that reflects our diverse populace.”
Hon. Pwajok also commended Governor Mutfwang for his unwavering commitment to people-oriented reforms, policies, and programs.
To the newly elected Local Government Council Chairmen, Pwajok said, “This is not merely a victory for you as individuals but a win for the entire youth demographic of Plateau State. It illuminates a progressive path towards a governance framework that values the input and creativity of the younger generation.”
“We are confident that you will wield your influence with wisdom and integrity, paving the way for innovative solutions to our communities’ challenges.”
“Once again, congratulations to all elected youths and everyone who won under the umbrella of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).”
“May your tenure be marked by positive collaborations, unmatched achievements, a remarkable drive for unity, and a relentless pursuit of progress for Plateau State. We await with great anticipation the positive impact you will undoubtedly make,” the statement concluded.
