The National Chairman and Youth President of the National Youth Alliance (NYA), Ambassador Aliyu Bin Abbas, has stated the organization’s commitment to mobilizing Nigerian youths for a democratic revolution aimed at achieving good governance by 2027.
Amb. Abbas, alongside his team, has been engaging in strategic meetings with NYA leaders across the country, beginning with the northern region. Speaking during a meeting in Gombe State, he emphasized that their efforts would reshape democratic practices and foster progress for citizens in both rural and urban areas.
In his address, Abbas declared, *“The youths of Nigeria are regrouping for a political revolution come 2027. This directionless APC government must be sacked before they inflict more damage on Nigeria’s economy with their terrible and ill-conceived policies.”*
He further stressed that the NYA is determined to awaken political consciousness among Nigerian youths and women, who account for over 85% of votes cast in elections. The aim, he explained, is to inspire this demographic to elect young and pragmatic leaders with fresh and transformative ideas in the upcoming 2027 elections.
Amb. Abbas reiterated the alliance’s dedication to empowering Nigerian youths to take active roles in political decision-making, ensuring a future defined by accountability, prosperity, and good governance.
