Guwor Hails Oborevwori’s “Governor of the Year” Award as a Reward for Hard Work, Diligence

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has described the “Governor of the Year” award conferred on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori by ThisDay Newspaper as a well-deserved recognition of his hard work and dedication to public service.

Guwor stated that the award came as no surprise, noting that Oborevwori’s one year and eight months of administrative excellence as Delta State Governor have been impactful and commendable.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Nkem Nwaeke, the Speaker commended the management of ThisDay-Arise Media Group for recognizing the governor’s leadership ethos and contributions to the state’s development.

He emphasized that Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated remarkable capacity and competence in governance, adding that “a goldfish has no hiding place,” as the governor’s outstanding performance speaks for itself.

On behalf of the Delta State House of Assembly, his constituents in Warri South West, and his political associates, Guwor congratulated the governor on the prestigious honor and pledged the legislature’s unwavering support for the successful implementation of the MORE agenda for Deltans.

“I am absolutely delighted to celebrate His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori, on being named ‘Governor of the Year’ by ThisDay-Arise Media Group,” Guwor stated.
