Man lynched to death over homosexuality, partner declared wanted

One Mr James Idemudia Omon a native of Esan South East local government area, Ewohimi, Edo State has been declared wanted by the police over his involvement in homosexuality.

Trouble started for James idemudia Omonafter he was seen pants down with his male lover, Mr Momoh Momodu.

A competent source told journalists that Momodu’s newly employed cook, Mr Festus Uda made the shocking discovery and raised an alarm which attracted neighbours.

According to the source, “Mr Festus Uda was in shock when he caught his boss, Mr Momoh Momodu pants down with his male lover, James Idemudia Omon on the 24th day of March, 2024 in his house in Rumuokoro ,port Harcourt Nigeria .

“He had just resumed work to cook for the day when he heard moans coming from the sitting room; he approached and was overwhelmed, he alerted the neighbors, and passers bys who flooded the home of Mr Momoh whom eyewitnesses said was very sober and could barely understand he was in grave danger.”

He said while Mr James Idemudia Omon, a native of Esan South East local government area, Ewohimi, Edo State had escaped from the fenced , his partner Momoh Momodu was lynched by the mob and set ablaze before the policemen came to the crime scene.

Meanwhile, the port harcourt Police Command said investigation had commenced and that efforts were on to apprehend James.

“We will get him to face his crime of engaging in unnatural sex,” the police said.
