Bar Caleb Mutfwang @60 – The Anointed leader steering Plateau to the Promised Land – Comrade Prince Miaphen

By Israel Adamu, Jos

Prominent youth leader and former President of the Plateau Youth Alliance, Comrade Prince Miaphen, has felicitated with the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, on the occasion of his 60th birthday, describing him as the anointed leader chosen by God to steer Plateau State toward peace, prosperity, and unprecedented development.

In a statement issued on Wednesday  Miaphen extolled Governor Mutfwang’s leadership, highlighting his unwavering faith, humility, and commitment to the people of Plateau. “Your Excellency, you are truly the anointed one for this time, divinely ordained to lead Plateau to its promised land of transformation.

According to  Miaphen, the  words of Luke 4:18 resonate deeply with your mission:

‘The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor…’. Your administration has indeed been a beacon of hope, bringing relief to the people through good governance, infrastructure development, and economic rejuvenation,” Miaphen stated.

He emphasized that Governor Mutfwang’s rise from a modest background to the pinnacle of political leadership serves as an inspiration to the youth, proving that with faith, hard work, and a commitment to service, greatness is achievable.

“Your life’s journey embodies the true essence of leadership rooted in service to humanity. From your days as a student at Boys Secondary School, Gindiri, through your career as a lawyer and public servant, and now as the governor of Plateau State, you have consistently demonstrated excellence, resilience, and a heart for the people,” he added.

Miaphen, who is also a key youth mobilizer, applauded the governor’s efforts in repositioning Plateau State, noting that within a short time in office, he has addressed critical challenges that plagued the state before his emergence.

He commended Governor Mutfwang’s bold decisions, including the clearing of outstanding salaries and pensions amounting to N11 billion, describing it as a testament to his dedication to the welfare of Plateau citizens.

“The people of Plateau now have a leader who truly prioritizes their well-being. By ensuring that civil servants and pensioners receive their entitlements, Governor Mutfwang has restored dignity to thousands of families and reinvigorated the state’s economy. This is the kind of leadership Plateau has long yearned for,” Miaphen remarked.

He further noted that Governor Mutfwang’s administration has made remarkable strides across key sectors, including education, healthcare, infrastructure, and security. “Your commitment to revamping the educational sector is evident in the ongoing renovation of schools and improved learning conditions for students.

Your intervention in healthcare, ensuring the upgrade of medical facilities and access to essential health services, is commendable. Moreover, your strategic approach to security, working with stakeholders to foster peace and stability, is yielding positive results,” he stated.

Miaphen declared that Governor Mutfwang’s leadership has not only transformed Plateau but has also become a model for visionary governance in Nigeria.

He noted that His Excellency Barr. Mutfwang’s governance philosophy is not just about today; but laying the foundation for a greater tomorrow, adding that his policies and programs are setting Plateau on a sustainable path of development, and his impact will be felt for generations to come.

The statement also highlighted Governor Mutfwang’s deep faith and reliance on divine guidance in governance, noting that his decision to surrender Plateau to God has led to the state’s steady progress. “Your Excellency, you have put God first in all you do, and as a result, the state is flourishing. There is no doubt that the Almighty, who has begun this great work through you, will see it to completion beyond 2027,” Miaphen affirmed.

While celebrating the governor’s 60th birthday, Miaphen urged the youth of Plateau to draw inspiration from his exemplary leadership.  He said Governor Mutfwang’s journey teaches that true leadership is about selfless service, and his integrity, vision and dedication should inspire young people to embrace responsibility and work towards the common good. He added that the governor has shown that leadership is not about personal gain but about impacting lives and transforming society.

Concluding, Miaphen wished the governor many more years of divine strength, wisdom, and success in leading Plateau State to greater heights.

“May your leadership bring even greater progress, unity, and prosperity to our beloved Plateau State. Happy 60th birthday, the People’s Governor!”, Miaphen stated.
