Plateau State Head of Service (HOS), Mr. Stephen Pam on Tuesday disclosed that the Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has no plan to sack or reduce the state’s workforce, over his move to digitalize the State’s Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
He made this known while speaking during the Plateau State 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing organized by the state minstry of information in Jos.
The Head of service also added that the Governor within the period under review is not owing salaries or pensions.
He said the Governor has already directed the implementation of the 70 Thousand Minimum wage across board in the State.
Mr Pam said the administration of Governor Mutfwang has promoted Industrial harmony in the state since he came to office and has constantly remitted Check-off Dues to Unions.
Also speaking at the occasion , the Commissioner for Commerce, Mr Mohammed Salihu Nyalum , disclosed that the State under the administration of Barr. Mutfwang has increased its export earnings within the period under review to 5 percent.
Commissioner for information and communication Hon Joyce Ramnap who also spoke earlier said the Barrister Caleb Mutfwang administration is working out policies and programmes aimed at making the lives of the citizens better.
Hon Ramnap said this is is not just another briefing. It is a bold and transparent stock taking exercise, where Ministries, Departments and Agencies will lay bare their scorecards highlighting the work done under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, over the past two years.
