NBC Zonal Director Visits Sokoto Police Command

The Zonal Director of the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Malam Ladan Muhammad, has paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Sokoto State Command, CP Ahmed Musa.

In a statement, the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Rufa’i, anipr, said the meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration between the NBC and the Police Command in regulating broadcast content and promoting peace, security, and responsible journalism in Sokoto State.

Both parties underscored the importance of synergy between media regulatory agencies and security operatives in combating misinformation and enhancing community safety.

The Commissioner of Police appreciated the NBC’s proactive engagement and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to continued cooperation with the Commission.
