Dungurawa Reelected as Kano NNPP Chairman, Promises Inclusive Party Growth

Dr. Hashimu Sulaiman Dungurawa has been reelected as the Kano State Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) following the conclusion of the party’s ward and local government congresses. His return to office comes after stakeholders across the state expressed confidence in his leadership and performance.Party members at both ward and local government levels voted overwhelmingly for Dungurawa, noting that his previous tenure contributed significantly to strengthening the NNPP’s structure and visibility in the state.

Stakeholders Commend Leadership

Speaking to journalists after the congress, party supporters described Dungurawa’s reelection as a strategic step toward consolidating the NNPP’s position in Kano State. They said his commitment to organizational development and grassroots engagement positioned the party for greater political success.According to supporters, retaining Dungurawa will “further strengthen the party at all levels,” given his dedication to party-building and internal unity.### Dungurawa Appreciates Kwankwaso, Praises Gov. Yusuf

In his acceptance remarks, Dr. Dungurawa expressed gratitude to the NNPP National Leader, Engineer Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, whom he described as a generous and visionary politician. He said Kwankwaso’s political ideology continues to inspire party members and drive the NNPP’s mission for a more progressive and democratic Nigeria.

He also commended Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for deploying state resources towards improving development across rural and urban areas in Kano. According to him, the governor’s ongoing reforms reflect a commitment to building a more prosperous and equitable state.

Commitment to Fair, Bias-Free Leadership

Dr. Dungurawa pledged to lead the party with fairness and without bias, promising to enhance internal cohesion and strengthen the NNPP’s structures across all political levels. He reaffirmed his commitment to building a united and formidable party ahead of future political contests.
