Woman Explains Why She Stopped Attending Pastor Chris Okafor’s Church After First Visit

A Nigerian woman has shared why she decided never to return to Pastor Chris Okafor’s church after attending a service there for the first time.

First Visit That Changed Everything

The woman, identified on Instagram as @preyemiebi, disclosed that she attended the church after being invited by a close friend. With no prior connection to the church or its founder, she said she accepted the invitation out of curiosity and trust.

“Everything Felt Off”

According to her, the experience left her deeply uncomfortable. She explained that several activities during the service did not sit well with her and immediately raised doubts in her mind.

She noted that the atmosphere and events during the programme did not feel genuine to her, making it difficult for her to connect with the service.

Growing Unease During the Service

As the service progressed, she said her discomfort increased. Some actions she observed appeared questionable and did not align with her personal expectations of a place of worship.

Decision Made Before the End

Before the service ended, she said she had already resolved not to return. Trusting her instincts, she left convinced that the church was not the right place for her.

Sharing her experience online, she wrote:

“The first day my friend took me to his church, everything he did screamed fake. I never went back. Spirit of discernment is essential in life.”
