BREAKING: Victor Olaiya, Nigerian highlife musician, dies at 89

Highlife music legend, Sir Victor Olaiya, has died.

He died at age 89 after a brief illness.

He died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital on Wednesday.

His death was announced by the Managing Director of Evergreen Music Company Ltd, Bimbo Esho.
