SOSG Distributes Relief Materials To Banditry Attacks Victims In Eastern Sokoto

Sokoto State Government has flagged off the distribution of relief materials to villages affected by banditry attacks in Eastern Sokoto. Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mallam Saidu Umar FCNA (Mallam Ubandoman Sokoto) spearheaded the flag off distribution which was conducted in the Sabon Birni Local Government.

Governor Tambuwal said the State Government in collaboration with the Federal Government, and Security Agencies will not relent on the joint effort to restore peace, and normalcy in the affected areas. Governor Tambuwal therefore solicits from the Traditional leaders, Religious leaders, and the people in those hinter areas more cooperation which he labelled as what will lead to more success on the present onslaught by the Military.

Sokoto State Government through the Sokoto State Emergency Management Agency distributed Food stuffs that comprised 1200 bags of rice, 600 bags of grains, 600 bags of maize, 600 bags of corn, 600 bags of garri, 500 gallons of groundnut oil, Asssorted female, and male materials (Atampa and Shadda), 1000 pieces of Mosquito nets, Soaps, Detergents, Mattresses, and Mats to the victims regardless of party affiliations or gender.

Governor Tambuwal was in the same vain shown the animals recovered from the bandits courtesy of the renewed Military onslaught.
