Xmas – Ogunbiyi Congratulates Christians, sues for love.

By Richard Akintade, Osogbo

Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and founder of Idera de Movement in Osun State, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, has described Christmas as a period of great love and felicitations with Christians across the state and Nigeria at large.

The PDP Chief in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Ismail Afolabi, stated that Christmas is a manifestation of God’s love for humanity, a time of healing and renewed strength.

He urged Christians to celebrate the occasion with love, adding: generally, when someone’s birthday is celebrated, they are honored and gifted presents. On this day, we say we are celebrating the birth of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, but what present are we giving him?

“Christmas is the beginning of a true classic story that contains all the right ingredients: love, joy, peace, celebration, salvation, reconciliation, and goodwill. Therefore, we must celebrate with love.”

He stated further, “we thank God for a glorious 2018. After setting off a major political intervention, we are delighted to see that we have made a lot happen in the lives of several people and our dear state, this year.”

“We, therefore, also take this opportunity to thank all our leaders and loyalists. We do realise and indeed, grateful for your support and goodwill. In 2019 and beyond, we look forward to working in partnership with all of you to deepen our services to the good people of Osun, support the hopeless and touch more lives.”

“Words cannot say enough, but we are truly grateful. We thank you sincerely and wish you a very Merry Christmas and all the best of 2019. Have a wonderful time over the festive season, with lots of love.”
