Kogi Lawmakers Passes Vote Of Confidence, Endorses Gov. Bello For Presidency

The Kogi State House of Assembly on Wednesday in Lokoja passed a vote of confidence on Governor Yahaya Bello as the most capable to take over from the incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari come 2023.

The  House unanimously urged Governor Yahaya Bello to contest for the office of the President or Vice President of the Country in the forthcoming presidential election.

The House in its plenary session described Governor Yahaya Bello as fit for the office in view of his outstanding performances in the state and more so that the North Central Zone has never had the opportunity to be President “We are urging him to seek a higher Office in 2023.” They added.

The House in a unanimous motion requested for the office of the nation’s Presidency and Vice be zoned to the North Central, Nigeria.

In a motion moved by the Majority Leader, Hon. Abdullahi Bello and supported by all the Members, said the North Central Zone has not had a chance at the Presidency, affirming Governor  Bello as a right peg to lead the nation.
