Adoke denies sending congratulatory message to Dino

By Friday Obande

Mohammed Bello Adoke SAN, former minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation has denied sending a congratulatory massage to Senator Dino Malaye over his re-election to the senate as widely reported in the social media.

The former minister denied owning any social media account, especially Facebook, and described the Facebook account from where the message purportedly emanated as fictitious as the message did not originate from him.

In a statement issued on his behalf by Victor Iorshenge his lawyer, it called on the general public and Facebook users to disregard the said Facebook posting in its entirety as it is nothing but the handiwork of fraudsters and mischief makers.

It noted that the former minister has since 2015 when he left public office maintained a personal policy of refraining from commenting on issues related to Nigerian politics a position he said has not changed.
