Trump won’t commit to attending Joe Biden’s inauguration

US President, Donald Trump, has said he still won’t give up trying to overturn November election results that handed a resounding victory to Democrat Joe Biden.

Even though the November 3 votes have been cast and counted and all his lawsuits have been filed and all have failed, Trump is still living in his own alternate reality, calling Biden an ‘illegitimate’ president.

“No, it’s not over,” Trump raved in an interview that aired Sunday night, December 13, on “Fox News.” “We keep going and we’re going to continue to go forward.”

Trump said his campaign has “numerous local cases” in the works and repeated claims that he won Georgia, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

There have been peaceful transfers of power since at least 1801, when second President John Adams ceded the White House to Thomas Jefferson.

In 1801, Adams reportedly skipped Jefferson’s inauguration, and now
Trump indicated he may follow in those footsteps, even if it means attacking the roots of America’s tradition.

Asked whether he would attend Biden’s inauguration, set for Jan. 20, he snapped: “I don’t want to talk about that.”

“I worry about the country having an illegitimate president — that’s what I worry about,” Trump ranted. “We won it big.”
